Random?

Occasionally, when I have a few extra minutes, I click the "next blog" button at the top of the page to see what other bloggers are up to. Next Blog is a completely random function that shuffles hundreds of thousands of blogs out there...so what are the chances of coming across the same fairly interesting blog twice? I ask you.

Well, it has happened to me and I thought maybe it means something? So I've included the guy's link (4th Ave. Blues) in my list. I'll give it a test run and you can tell me if he deserves to be listed on this blog or not.

The blog is losing its edge. If we wanted vanilla there is a great blog about care packages and mom's driving cars on our sister blog across the pond.

Joe Joe where are you!!!!!

This is an opportunity for you to explore the world past systems archetecture, Sports Center and foot-long hot dogs. Try seeing the world from someone else's door step.

Here are some topics we can talk about in our exciting lives as opposed to RANDOM.

1) Cavs being in the finals
2) Being two week from opening our first business
3) Struggles of an absent minded husband and his battle of trying to keep his sanity
4) OOO Yeah.... opening our business.....
5) Your thoughts about the housing market and how we can afford more home but really cant afford to get out of the one we have now..
6) Opening our business...

We have topics..

I've been pretty busy @ work, so haven't had time to read/post. Then again, I can't relate on concerts. My first concert was the Beastie Boy's License to Ill tour @ Cleveland Convention Center. Best concert was Snoop Dogg and Dre in 95 at the CSU Convocation Center. But who really cares? I've also seen Reba, Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, George Strait, Boyz II Men, TLC, Guns & Roses and Skid Row. How's that for eclectic? I know i've heard sting, but I can't name a single song of his off the top of my head.

Go Cavs, not looking good.
Go Tribe - Heather, Baby Jo and are going to see the tribe play the Marlins this Thursday at Joe Robbie (not sure what its called now)
Housing - Holding steady in Miami. Hoping to get 4% return per year.
Small Biz - Good luck, you will truly understand what high taxes are.
Amnesty Bill in Senate - For the first time ever, I've called both my senators and congressman to complain.

Feel better?

Leah - I've Next Blogged that blog too. But I couldn't quite get it.

Daddy H - Don't dis my blog! And don't call me sister! If your list is your idea of interesting, visit Bow Wow site. I hear it is going to be a booming visit. Although I must admit I don't get the idea of doggy day care.

Joe - You're not busy at work. Your busy getting reference to disprove global warming.

LA,

I have been very busy at work. Its funny you assume it takes me all day to find global warming debunk articles when in fact its pretty easy. They are all over the place.

Heac Count Reduction is a lot of work.

LaDawn...how is it possible to Next Blog the same blog in common and once of us twice? Is he doing something to increase his chances or is Next Blog not that random? Please explain.

Actually, his blog is mildly interesting, but some of the blogs he has listed on his site are facinating. There is one called "Prison Pete" which is by a New Jersey prison inmate. VERY interesting stuff. I visit his blog just to click through to the others.

"Emancipation of a Drama Queen" blog is good too. Again, click through from 4th Ave blog.

perhaps 4th ave blues won't be to your taste but he has a large readership. i often get the same blog twice when i hit the next blog button, especially late at night when not as many people are updating their blogs. good luck finding interesting blogs to read. i read prison pete, but if you want a good prison blog, try jon's jail journal at http://jonsjailjournal.blogspot.com

Dear Anon,

Thanks for the tip re: Jon's. I'll give it a spin. I like 4th Ave too.

Did someone mention footlong hotdogs? Nectar of the Gods, I say! Greetings from CT! Sounds like you guys are in for a serving of salsa next weekend - I can't wait! Leah - I've got to get your e-mail address..... Candy C...

I removed 4th Ave and inserted Jon's Jail Journal. Good stuff. I like the cat story.

Why is Jon in Jail?

We once bought a franchise. Looked great on paper. Didn't loose any money but didn't make much either!

Joe -I'm smarter than you think.....if you think headcount reduction is hard don't come anywhere near my company. Over 2000 in the 5 years in IS alone. I'm the only person left in the bunch that hired me!

Fraud and money laundering. As a side note, he is from the UK. Many of his links are good too.

OKAY...after certain fairly graphic postings, Jon's is coming off of CasaHerrera. Still interesting stuff, but not for the family crowd. Thanks Jon, but goodbye.
